North Point State Park

This was a beginner bird walk to especially view herons and egrets.  We weren't disappointed - juvenile and adult Little Blue Herons were on both sides of Black Marsh Trail.

This was also a good day for dragonflies.

The jetty was closed for renovation.  To the left is a small public beach.  The visitor's center is open until Labor Day and has information on the history of the park and its role in the War of 1812.
